Location: Rochester, BAE Systems
Working Arrangements: Full time on site
Duration: 12 months
Hourly Rate: £52.46 PAYE or £70.81 Umbrella

BAE Systems are looking for an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead engineering programmes within the Electronic Systems team.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage engineering projects through the full project lifecycle.

* Provide technical leadership and direction to engineering teams.

* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required standards.

* Liaise with customers, stakeholders, suppliers and support functions.

* Monitor project schedules, costs and risks.

* Support and guide engineering teams to achieve project objectives.

* Drive continuous improvement and best practice.

Essential Requirements

* Proven experience leading engineering projects involving electronic or real-time systems.

* Strong technical engineering background.

* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

* Ability to lead teams and take ownership of project delivery.

* Degree in Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

* HNC qualification as a minimum.

* Aerospace or Defence industry background.

* Around 10 years' engineering experience.

* Previous experience progressing from an engineering role into project management.
