Salary: £19.00 per hour

Hours: 36 hours per week

Contract: Temporary / Interim

SEND Project Support Officer – £19 per hour

We are looking for an experienced and organised SEND Project Support Officer to join a busy Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong administrator or project support professional with experience of working within SEND, education, children's services or similar environments.

The successful candidate will provide effective support to the SEND Service, helping to ensure statutory requirements are met and that high-quality and timely Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) are developed and maintained.

The Role

As a SEND Project Support Officer, you will:

Support the development and delivery of high-quality and timely EHCPs.

Provide efficient administrative and project support to the SEND Service.

Collate accurate information from a range of sources.

Support effective communication across the service and with relevant stakeholders.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Support auditing and monitoring procedures.

Ensure information is managed in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.

Assist with the coordination and monitoring of SEND processes.

Work collaboratively with colleagues and professionals involved in the SEND process.

Support the delivery of statutory requirements across the SEND service.

About You

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to work effectively in a busy environment.

You should have:

Previous experience in a project support, administration or coordination role.

Excellent organisational and administrative skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.

The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

The ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Desirable Experience

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

SEND

Education

Children's Services

Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)

Statutory services

Project or programme support

Auditing, monitoring or compliance
